Great deals at Giant this week!

I got all of this for $12.32 PLUS 40 cents off per gallon when I go to fill up at Giant gas (should save me about 8 dollars)! It was a combination of coupons and instant savings which I found at my two favorite websites: chachingonashoestring.com and forthemommas.com

Cheap Massage (Reading area - East-West)

I am super excited about the Groupon this morning. It's for an hour massage at East-West Therapeutic Massage in Wyomissing, for $27! My sister-in-law and I have gone here many times and it's great! I have never had a problem paying full price ($55) for a massage here because they are always great, but $27 is fantastic!!

Giant paid me to shop today!

I've been on a crazy coupon/saving kick since Saturday when I got 8 boxes of cereal and 2 coupons for free gallons of milk for less than $1.00! I found out about it at the last minute, otherwise I would have shared.

Well there is another one for this week....I can't promise that all of the coupons are still available, but I will give you the link to the site where I found the deal. Scoring deals at Target!

I purchased all of this stuff at Target yesterday for $6.10! Here is how to score your own great deals at Target:

Check and print any Target coupons, directly from their website. There is a link to their coupons at the bottom of the Target.com homepage. There is a limited number of each coupon and they disappear after they have reached their maximum print number, so make sure you print them right away once you see something that interests you.

Look for any manufacturers coupons for the same item, so you can "stack" the coupons. (stack = use 2 coupons on the same item, one store brand coupon and one manufacturer coupon)

Match up your coupons with items that Target has on sale for the week!

I like to check the website chachingonashoestring.com to find Target deals, but I've found that they are not always all listed. I just check to see what items I have double coupons for and then look at the store, or in the add to see if it's a great deal.

A bunch of the deals from this week were on Target brand items (Up & Up). I find that most of their things are as good as name brands and you can often find coupons for the Up & Up brand, making them really cheap or even free!

I hope this helps people to score some great savings!!

Standard Things I do to Save

Wholesale Clubs:

If you are thinking of getting a membership at a wholesale club, go with BJ's. You can use coupons on the already awesome wholesale prices. PLUS you can use a BJ's coupon (they send you a book of coupons every month) and a manufacturer's coupon on each item.

Stacking Coupons:

You can use two coupons on the same item if you have a store coupon (i.e. Target coupon) and a manufacturer's coupon (like from the Sunday paper). If you combine this with an in-store sale you can often get items really cheap or free!

Great savings website:

Groupon.com - Sign up for deals in your area and get an e-mail with the deal of the day. Great deals come up for things in your area (one deal per day). A few days ago I bought a groupon for a website that sells printer ink. I got my color ink cartridges for $10 each with free shipping. You can't get ink that cheap at the store!

Obsessed with Saving Money

I've become increasingly obsessive over saving money lately. Since I'm staying home with the boys and not bringing in an income, I feel that saving money with our normal purchases is a way to contribute financially. There are so many deals posted all over the internet everyday, I decided I would create this blog to share some of the really good ones. Once you start searching you will find that there is "free" money to be found all over the place. Finding the best ways to save money on things that I would purchase anyway has become my hobby. I'm a dork, I know :0)

One of my exciting finds from a while ago was ebates. I saw today that you can earn money from ebates just for referrals. (This is what prompted the start of this blog.) Here's the short scoop with ebates....if you do any shopping online for anything, you should be using ebates. All you have to do is sign up for an account and then search for the website that you normally purchase things from (they have almost everything!) If you go to your normal website through their link and make a purchase you get cash back from ebates. The percentage you get back varies but it's money for nothing! Ebates sends you checks in the mail as you acquire them. I've already gotten two. Again.....money for doing something you would normally do anyway. Love it!!
